Our apprenticeship programs are shifting how we think about accessing higher education and offer a true “Learn and Earn” pathway. And by focusing on equity and access, the Nevada Alliance for Youth Apprenticeship serves as a powerful tool to promote a diverse workforce in medical care, advanced manufacturing, IT and beyond as we work with employers to create additional apprenticeship programs.

The Nevada Alliance for Youth Apprenticeship is creating more opportunities for youth, ages 16-24, through Registered Apprenticeship and apprenticeship readiness programs and helping business develop new registered apprenticeship programs. The cross-industry apprenticeship model works with employers, schools, and community organizations to provide pathways to high-demand, high-paying careers in healthcare, information technology, advanced manufacturing, mining, and construction. Through this work we are spreading the proven model of Registered Apprenticeship to benefit the state’s workforce and economy.
